Apply for a Grant
The Rutherford Education Foundation will accept educational grant applications for the 2023 grant cycle from December 1, 2023 through March 1, 2024. Grant requests must be submitted by the March 1, 2024 deadline in order for them to be reviewed. At the May REF board meeting, funding is voted on and applicants will be notified of their award. Funds are then used for implementation in the fall.
Any person, including Rutherford administrators and teachers, is invited to submit an application as are community groups associated with Rutherford schools such as Parent Teacher Associations or Home School Associations.
Applications will be judged primarily on educational merit, innovation and need. Compliance with the educational goals and objectives of the Rutherford School District is a factor in making grant decisions. There is no limit on the amount of a grant request.

Completed applications will be reviewed by your school administrator and then sent to the board office to Mr. Hurley’s attention.
